Notes: 

The Library's first director, Belle da Costa Greene, exposed this forgery in 1930 and, as a result, gave the Spanish Forger his name. The painting was formerly attributed to Maestro Jorge Inglès, an artist active in Spain about the middle of the fifteenth century.
