George London Foundation Recital
Pairs of stellar opera singers, many of whom were winners of a George London prize early in their careers, or recent George London Award recipients, perform in this annual series of recitals. A reception with the artists follows each recital.

Marjorie Owens this past season appeared at the Semperoper Dresden as Dorotka in Schwanda, as Senta in The Flying Dutchman with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, and the title role of Leonore with Washington Concert Opera. Quinn Kelsey is the cover subject of the June 2017 Opera News and in 2017–18 at the Metropolitan Opera he sings the roles of Peter in Hansel and Gretel, di Luna in Il Trovatore, and Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor. The program will include works by Tchaikovsky, Copeland, Wagner, Verdi, and Massenet, among others.
