European Arms and Armor of the Crusades

The Crusader Bible provides wonderful representations of medieval warriors in combat. Pierre Terjanian, Arthur Ochs Sulzberger Curator in Charge, Department of Arms and Armor, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, will explore the arms and armor of the Crusades by looking at both preserved artifacts and painted and sculpted representations from the period.

The exhibition The Crusader Bible: A Gothic Masterpiece will be on view at 5:30 p.m. for program attendees.
