Take part in a virtual walk-through of the Morgan's exhibition devoted to the extraordinary figure Alfred Jarry (1873–1907). Sheelagh Bevan, Andrew W. Mellon Associate Curator in Printed Books & Bindings, will guide viewers through the installation and take a close look at many of the books, manuscripts, and works of visual art that speak to Jarry's singular imagination and legacy.
We encourage you to submit your comments or questions about Alfred Jarry and the exhibition in advance of the program to sbevan@themorgan.org. All questions are requested by 5 pm on Tuesday, July 21. Select questions will be addressed during and after the presentation.
Please note that the program will take place online. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to participate using Zoom. We ask that you download the app in advance for the best user experience.
