Notes:

A messenger on horseback approaches the doorway of a building to the right of the design, in front of which stand a group of gentlemen wearing wigs. To the left, the front ranks of an army are visible, and in the background are tents. The foremost soldier carries a banner showing a white horse (which may represent the white horse of Hanover).
Additions made to the etching throughout in dark brown ink, apparently by contemporary hand.
Not in British Museum?
Probably from the middle of the 18th century.
