Department of Drawings and Prints

The department of Drawings and Prints has a limited number of unpaid internships available throughout the academic year and during the summer. The interns assist curators with permanent collection or exhibition projects, performing library research, as well as with routine departmental duties including filing, typing, and photocopying.

Requirements:

  • A minimum commitment of at least 30 working days, which can be distributed over a negotiable period of time

Qualifications:

  • Positions are open to graduate students, and B.A. graduates or undergraduates at advanced stages in their program in History of Art or related relevant fields
  • Knowledge of Italian, French, or German desirable

Deadlines:

We accept applications on a rolling basis for volunteer internships throughout the year. For full consideration for a specific seasonal internship, please apply by the following dates:

  • Summer internships, applications due April 1.
  • Fall internships, applications due July 1
  • Winter/Spring interships, applications due November 1
