Inscription: 

Signed at lower right on the boat, in brown oil paint, "Theo". Inscribed on an old paper mount (13 3/4 x 8 5/8 inches [349 x 220 mm.]) with ruled cartouches in black ink; above the design, in brown ink, "37"; below the design, in the same hand and brown ink, "Jesus apparoit a ses Disciples"; on verso of the mount, at center, in another hand, in graphite, "126" encircled.
