Binding: 
Contemporary French panel-stamped calf over wooden boards (14.5 x 10 cm), sewn on 3 supports; panels of Crucifixion and Pentecost signed Lecamus Guerin. Plain paper endleaves. 1 clasp; strap renewed.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Rubrication unrealized. Annotations: Sporadic contemporary marginal notations in text (probabaly by Savoure). Contemporary Roman numeral inscription: "xxvii [???]," perhaps date or price (top turn-in of inside front cover). Additional 16th-century inscriptions (by Cobbys?) in Latin and English: "Et iustus quidem vix savabitur impius et peccator uri parebut" (a version of 1 Peter 4:18), including the English translation, "And yf the ryghteous shall sca[r]ce be savyd where shall the wycked & synner appere." Moderate wormholes throughout text and margins, into binding.
